University of Utah Global Health (GH) provides support and helps to strengthen collaboration between existing global health programs while developing management structures and tools for existing and future programs.
It aims to support program access to financial and other resources to strengthen and sustain implemented programs and project the University of Utah as a leader in the global health space. GH demonstrates a longstanding passion for global health work, with over 100 faculty and staff presence in over 71 countries.
Global Health supports programs that simultaneously seek to develop academic interventions, research activities, and health services, while building on multi-professional approaches that seek to foster innovation and both operational and financial sustainability.

A Donor-Advised Fund offers the opportunity to create an easy-to-establish, low cost, flexible vehicle for charitable giving as an alternative to direct giving or to creating a private foundation. This is accomplished by first establishing a DAF with an irrevocable donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program. The donor then recommends the allocation of the donated assets to a qualified public charity (such as the University of Utah).
