22 Forever Memorial Scholarship

22 Forever Memorial Scholarship

The University of Utah honors the memories of Ty Jordan and Aaron Lowe with scholarship funds that bear their names.

Both Jordan and Lowe wore the number 22 during their time playing football for the University of Utah. Jordan was killed in December 2020 when a handgun he was carrying accidentally went off. Lowe, who was the first recipient of the Ty Jordan scholarship, died less than a year later after being shot at a party following a football game. Following Lowe’s death the number 22 was retired from the football team’s roster.

The deaths of Jordan and Lowe are tragic and left the university community reeling. These pins will help fund the futures for other students and ensure that neither are forgotten.
